<\/span><\/p>\nThe pupils from Primary School at Domaszewnica took part in the Dream Class just before 1 June. Children from grades 1 to 7 had the opportunity to visit an interior of a wind turbine, learn interesting wind energy facts and learn how a wind turbine is producing clean electricity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere should be more projects like School with the Wind.<\/span><\/i> At school, children learnt in an interesting and engaging way why it is beneficial to produce energy from renewable sources and how it impacts the environment.<\/span><\/i> The competition our pupils won enabled us to take more than 50 children to a wind farm, where they learned even more.<\/span><\/i> They were very impressed and certainly had an unforgettable time \u2014 one of the best lessons they ever took part in,\u201d <\/span><\/i>said Joanna Szmulewicz, physics teacher at Primary School in Domaszewnica.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n With the intention to educate the youngest and promote awareness of green energy, Polish Wind Energy Association together with Novenergia expert held an ECO Class at the G\u0142uch\u00f3w Wind Farm to teach children about climate issues and help them understand renewable energy sources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cClimate and environmental protection are issues that pertain to everyone.<\/span><\/i> Consistent pollution and degradation may lead to a disaster.<\/span><\/i> Subsequent generations may live in a world that will be very different from the world we know from our childhood.<\/span><\/i> Therefore, the core intention of School with the Wind is to draw young people\u2019s attention to everyday environmental pollution caused by man and to demonstrate how today we may counteract climate change,\u201d <\/span><\/i>said Ma\u0142gorzata \u017bmijewska-Kukie\u0142ka, Communications Manager, Polish Wind Energy Association.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n School with the Wind is an educational project prepared by PWEA that educates children and young people about contemporary threats to a clean and green planet and promotes pro-ecological attitudes and knowledge on the advantages stemming from the use of renewable energy sources, including wind energy.<\/strong> The initiative is to develop Earth-protecting habits from the earliest years and picture how important the limitation of greenhouse gas emissions, in particular carbon dioxide, is for the climate The project is free.
