MARTIFER RENEWABLES S.A. which is part of a large Portuguese holding, has existed in Poland since 2005. The company operates in the renewable energy sector – it deals with the design and construction of wind farms as well as the development, production and sale of electricity throughout Poland. The MARTIFER Group, through its subordinate companies, operates on developed European markets (Portugal, Spain, Germany, Poland, Romania) and in South America (Brazil). The MARTIFER Group currently has 36.1 MW of solar and wind energy in operation. At the end of 2010, the Group sold its wind parks in Germany with a total capacity of 53.1MW. In September 2011, MARTIFER RENEWABLES S.A. made a sale to IKEA RETAIL Sp. z o. o. \u0141\u0119ki Dukielskie 10MW Wind Farm and 18MW Bukowsko Wind Farm and preliminary sale of the Ryman\u00f3w 26MW Wind Farm.
