JSW is the only significant European supplier of coking coal, a raw material considered critical in the EU. It is the only one in Europe with mining and coking assets. JSW is a valued supplier to Europe’s largest steel companies and also to overseas markets.
As a supplier of a key steelmaking raw material, it plays an important role in the transformation of the European economy towards climate neutrality. As part of a broad local content policy, JSW is developing participation in the raw materials supply chain for steel used in the construction of wind farms, among other things.
