TAURON Polska Energia S.A. is a holding company in a capital group that is one of the largest business entities in Poland, including the largest distributor and one of the largest sellers and producers of electricity. The TAURON Group includes companies responsible for all elements of the electricity and heat supply chain. Tauron Polska Energia S.A. dynamically develops its activities in the field of renewable energy sources – in particular in wind energy. The installed capacity in the Tauron Group in renewable energy sources is almost 700 MW.
Since 2010, the shares of TAURON Polska Energia SA have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, among others. in the WIG20 and WIG30 indices. The company is included in the RESPECT Index of socially responsible companies.
