Monika Morawiecka will lead PGE Baltica. The company, a subsidiary of the State Treasury-controlled PGE Group, is developing offshore wind farms.

Morawiecka has been working for the energy industry for many years. She is employed in PGE since 2006. For the last nine years as Director of the Strategy Department she was responsible, among others, for proposing the Group’s development directions.

PGE intends to have approximately 2.5 GW of wind farm capacity in the Baltic Sea by 2030. The Group also holds onshore wind farms with a total capacity of approximately 550 MW.
