On 30 August 2019 the Minister of Environment, Henryk Kowalczyk, nominated Piotr Woźny for the position of the President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW).
In the past, Mr Piotr Woźny was, among others, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Digitization, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, and in 2018 he held the position of Vice-President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management plays an important role in funding pro-environmental projects in Poland. Its activities contribute to improved environmental protection and water management throughout the country. Once again, I would like to congratulate on the nomination and wish you a fruitful and hard work – said Minister Kowalczyk.
The position of NFOŚiGW’s President was previously held by Mr Kazimierz Kujda, who resigned on 12 February 2019. The position was vacant for 6 months.
