Join us at Wind Power Poland 2016!
The largest wind industry conference & exhibition in Central & Eastern Europe

Why should you participate in Wind Conference and Exhibition?

We will focus on the most current issues relating to wind energy industry in Poland and rest of the EU:

  1. How new political and legislative factors will affect wind energy in the EU and Poland.

The European Union assumes that RES will be accounted by 2030 for 27% of total energy consumed in total by member countries, but still unknown is the final shape of new common European and regional markets. The discussion about a role of renewables in new EU Market Design is still in progress. The event will bring together European Commision high officials, also those involved in forming the final shape of the Energy Union, as well as delegates from regulatory agencies and the wind energy industry, so the newest ideas and solutions in this respect could be presented and discussed.

  1. Poland – how new CfD support scheme will improve the investment climate for wind industry.Poland is the most perspective market for RES in European Union. From 2016 in Poland will enter into force new RES support scheme. The new CfD system will provide new opportunities for international investors who are interested in what is becoming one of the most progressive and secure RES market in EU.
  2. Operation & Maintenance – new market for new services opens.Consequent increase in the share of wind energy in the energy mix creates new opportunities for new and independent players responsible for operation & maintenance of wind farms. More and more of wind turbines from 5.000 MW installed capacity is ending or will end soon the O&M agreements they entered into when they were newly built. New RES support scheme will require also new services, like most advanced wind analysis methods and tools and operational optimization of the wind parks.
  3. Offshore – interesting perspectives and strong supply chain players.Poland has one of the biggest potentials of offshore wind in the Baltic Sea region. By 2030 offshore installed capacity in Poland is estimated to reach 6 GW out of its 30 GW technical and economical potential. Come to see how vibrant is the offshore community in Poland and how Poland already is one of the key players in the offshore industry supply chain in Europe.
  4. Exhibition on more than 1500 sqm space. The Conference and Exhibition is also a meeting place for key market players, giving an opportunity to establish many important, strategic business contacts. Exhibitors will present a range of new products, services and technology solutions in wind power. The Conference and Exhibition will be attended by representatives of companies from all around Europe, including developers, investors, component manufacturers or representatives of the energy distribution sector as well as representatives of industry associations. Special exhibition areas for large and heavy components display and a separate “Offshore Village” !
