Work4Wind is a professional support platform for Ukrainian citizens seeking work in the energy sector and for companies looking for employees in Poland. It already brought first results — first job-seekers found their job, and companies found new employees.
Poland is currently facing a great challenge: to ensure ad hoc care and aid for refugees from Ukraine, and to enable their long-term coexistence. Polish business and companies open to new employees will play a key role in the process. The wind energy sector proposed an initiative to create a dedicated platform, Work4Wind, supporting Ukrainian citizens.
Therefore, Polish and Ukrainian Wind Energy Associations want to foster professional development of Ukrainian citizens in Poland. The jointly developed Work4Wind platform may help many specialists, including accountants, engineers, economists, lawyers, ecologists, drivers, civil engineers and installers, secretaries and others, required in different areas, to find jobs in the wind energy sector.
Wind energy continues to be a strong job-creating sector and will develop further notwithstanding the difficult situation in the Ukraine. By engaging in the project, we continue our mutual fight with Ukraine’s dependence on the import of Russian fuels and support further development of cleaner, more environmentally-friendly renewable energy sources despite the ongoing war. Therefore, it is crucial to support the fighting Ukraine along with hundreds of thousands of refugees that can and want to work but have been forced to run from their homeland.
